I started my musical career when I was 13 back in the early '80's by playing punk shows in the SF Bay Area. I graduated to recording in professional studios, 16-24 tracks of the analog type back in the late '80's early '90's. Fast forward to 2000 and I began again after a multi-year hiaitus and got into Cakewalk. It's been off and on until about 2007 and now I finally am a homeowner and have a permanent setup, so it's full steam ahead.

Cool, good idea on the vinyl & digital combination, I think that's what a lot of people are doing - keeping their love of vinyl going but being realistic and accepting that digital is the best way to get the music out there!
As for pricing, why don't you email me on alex@emasters.co.uk and we can discuss it further outside of the site - don't want your page to turn into a price list!
Only joking. I don't think we're at the love stage yet though. FYI incase you haven't heard them, Paul Weller's latest solo albums are pretty good, the ones I've worked on anyway ; ) 'As Is Now' is the best one.
We also just did some mastering of some Jam demos, apparently they are the tracks that got the band signed - In The City is one of them and they're going to be released on vinyl with a book, or something.
Hey it must be bitching cold where you are at the moment?
ooo your work is very mysterious and eery. Its really good. :)
I havent got any of my music posted because most of its for an indi label manchesterrecords. However when I actually get some time to turn more ideas into songs I shall put them up on my page.
YEah Paul Weller is a nice guy, and one of the few big artists that actually takes the time to remember assistant engineers' names. I met him a few times but the one I remember most was the day in July 2005 that there were suicide bombs in London - I eventually made it into work and spent the whole day watching news with him, his producer and a couple of hot young groupies!
Interesting songs you've got here - definitely a different production style to a lot of other music out there - quite adventurous and dark! I know you don't have these guys listed in your influences so apologies if you hate them but a couple of the tracks remind me a bit of faith no more but less metal, and alice in chains.
hi thank you for the comment. and dont worry I have a lot to learn too. I really want to do all aspects of music, hense why i'm looking into recording. becauseits a useful skill to achieve. how long have you been recording for?
