Ahh - thats the rub -- my focusrite is supposed to ship today - I figure it should
barrive sometime late this week - or early next. I am just getting my home
studio up and going. since my keyboard is not yet setup. I usually play an
out-of-tune upright in my living room. But with 4 grand-kids running around
the house it is really hard to find some quiet time to really work on anything.
That being said - I am setting up in my bedroom and I figure that since most
of my work will be digital - keyboard to laptop - and I will be using my headphones - then the noise factor should diminish somewhat and it should
not be too hard to find some quiet moments to record vocals when its time.
Oh yeah - I suppose I'll need to get some mics. Hmmmm - now where did I
bury that money chest...
PS - I see that you count your top influence as Mew - we have yet another thing in common (besides the studio thing)! I'm glad more people are starting to really appreciate their greatness...
Meh - I'd take a room with that look any day :o). I'd prop up some wood panels to brighten it up a bit (but better a room that's too dead rather than a room that's too live... easier to isolta ein a dead room).
Thank you so much for your kind comments.
I mix the song "Living This Lie" and did the mastering of both tracks, actually the album "Rough Cut".
I've recently mix and master Hadiqa's new RnB album which will release soon by the end of September I guess. So I will upload some songs from that album as well.
I can't upload full tracks here as these tracks are copyrighted, but I can email you though. :)
Listening to your tracks, sounding cool, synths are big. Nextgen Psychonaut is my fav. Later I'll listen to the NIN remix that you did. I love your sound, great tracks.
