One Audio Interface - Update !!
Focusrite support called me about 10am Houston time and they were able to help
me fix the following:
First -- we took care of the static, the popping and the clicking -
Support had me disable my add-on video card - an NVIDIA 9400 GT
MY PC started using the onboard video -- the noise in my headphones
disappeared immediately - nothing but nice clean music now.
My display is set to 1280 x 1024 - Focusrite support thought that setting them that high
might cause my PC/So… Continue

One audio Interface - Continued...
with my computer desk - shelving and keyboard.
Excited - I pulled my Saffire Pro 10 from the box and hooked everything up to
my DELL XPS laptop. Then I downloaded and installed the SaffireControl software.
(Drum Roll please...)
Boot my laptop - power-up the Saffire Pro - AND !!! --- nothing....
That's when I discovered that the firewire port on my laptop is fried - Errggghhh..

One Audio Interface - DELIVERED !!!
YEEE-HAWWWW !!! -- (If you're from Texas - or in a country kinda mood)
Awesome Moment -- my Focusrite Saffire Pro 10 -- was just delivered a short while ago.
I feel like the kid on "Christmas Story" that got the "Red Ryder BB Rifle" -except without
all the screamin and hollerin and all that foolish runnin around and jumpin up and down
like a danged fool - err - ummm - well okay - perhaps there was just a little bit of that. :P
