Compatibility

Recently got a Mac Pro desktop 10.5 with the latest system called leopard. Am having some issues with some of my pluggins..they won't run on it! Thinking that maybe the Leopard system isn't compatible with most of them. Am runnin Logic 8 at the moment and I should probably downgrade to Tiger system which is a 10.4... Anybody has any ideea about this or exerienced any similar problems??
