I like the ease of use of Ableton. It came with my Line6 Toneport UX2. It was easy to "jot down" song ideas on my old laptop when inspriation hit. I would re-record them later on my desktop machine with Cubase.
I am saving up cash to buy one of the Open Labs machines. Have you ever seen one of those in action? They are bad-ass!
